1. Employer authority
You must be authorised to act for the named employer and provide an email address you control. The organisation, role, salary, location, work mode, application route and other details must be current, accurate and not misleading.
2. Suitable listings
Listings must describe a genuine lawful vacancy and must not include discriminatory, fraudulent, unsafe, infringing or malicious content. Application URLs must use HTTPS and lead to the employer’s intended application process. A genuine salary range is required.
Salaries are public by default. An employer may keep the salary private for an additional £50; that fee does not improve promotional rank.
3. Review and publication
Paid jobs enter moderation. Hirechain Ltd may approve the listing, request changes, reject it with a reason, suspend it or remove it where necessary to enforce these terms or protect candidates and the marketplace. The 30-day listing period begins only when the job is approved and published, not when checkout completes.
4. Initial payment
A new listing requires a whole-pound promotion budget from £49 to the £2,000 self-serve maximum. The amount charged before any applicable tax is the selected promotion budget plus the optional £50 hidden-salary fee.
Payment covers a 30-day listing and its relative rank among eligible promoted jobs. It does not guarantee a fixed position, traffic, applications or a hire.
5. Promoted and organic results
Higher-funded eligible direct jobs rank higher inside the clearly labelled promoted block. Paid bids never reorder organic job results, and imported jobs cannot enter promoted slots.
6. Outbidding and top-ups
Other employers may post or increase their budgets during your listing period, so estimated positions can change. An active paid direct job may be topped up by at least £10, subject to the £2,000 cumulative self-serve maximum. A top-up charges only the increment and does not extend the expiry date.
Your job remains searchable for its original 30-day period if another employer outbids it. Outbid employers receive no automatic refund.
7. Renewal, refunds and disputes
Renewal is a new 30-day commercial period, requires a new budget of at least £49 and is not automatic. A full refund removes the paid promotion; depending on publication state, the listing returns to draft or review. A partial refund keeps the promotion budget but returns a non-terminal listing to review. A dispute removes the paid promotion and returns a non-terminal listing to review; a won dispute restores the promotion. Disputes are reviewed by an administrator. Being outbid does not trigger an automatic refund.
